ROAMpay X is the latest design concept in the ROAMpay app family — an advanced mobile point-of-sale solution designed for both smartphones and tablets. The app provides merchants with quick access to critical business information while delivering a seamless, fast, and secure checkout experience for customers. Paired with a compatible card reader, ROAMpay X enables a full-featured, on-the-go merchant experience anywhere mobile devices are used.

This project explored a future vision for the app. My focus was on creating a minimal, modern design with a streamlined user flow. The primary goal was to enable the fastest possible checkout process with the fewest taps or steps, optimizing both merchant and customer experiences. The interface was designed responsively for both phones and tablets and includes full white-labeling capabilities, giving merchants complete control over branding throughout the app.

The UX was informed by expert research, best practices, and real user feedback from existing products. Consistency was a core design principle, ensuring that key screens adhered to familiar patterns and interactions. The goal was not to reinvent the wheel, but to deliver a simplified, cohesive experience tailored to the needs of modern merchants.
